This is now possible with Torus.
Let’s show you how…
In this example we’ll show you how to send Ethereum to anyone with a Gmail account.
First, Go to the Torus website on your mobile phone or tablet.
Then select Login in Menu tab
Now select Sign in with Google.
Login with your Google account…
You now have a cryptocurrency wallet 😃
Anyone with a Google account can now be gifted with Ethereum.
The wallet created has no Ethereum in it.
However, you are able to import an Ethereum account that already has an Ethereum balance. If you already have an Ethereum wallet, you can copy and paste your private key from your previous wallet to your Torus wallet.
If this is your first time using a cryptocurrency wallet, you can also buy Ethereum.
Select Top up to view your payment options.
You can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, a credit card or debit card.
If you’re more of an experienced cryptocurrency user, another way to add Ethereum to your Torus wallet is to send crypto from your other Ethereum wallets.
Select the string of code under your email beginning with 0x (this is your Ethereum address). It will say copied when selected. This is for receiving Ethereum.
Following the third step, we will be sending out some Ethereum from our Trust wallet account to our Torus wallet.
We have now sent our 0.0015 ETH to the copied address : 0xE9647Bb144F17fF5e8F3363C335ea6A642e4160f
Our Torus wallet now has 0.0015 ETH ($0.19).
Then, select transfer left of top up.
Now select transfer mode to pick a way to send your Ethereum.
In this example, we will pick a Google account.
Enter any Gmail that you would like to send your ETH to.
Scroll down to you send .
We have decided to send all of our Ethereum to the Gmail account.
Select send all at the top right of the box.
(Note: You can choose how many ETH to send and do not have to send everything.)
Excluding the fees, we will be sending 0.001395 ETH (~$0.17).
Select transfer in blue at the bottom to send Ethereum.
Confirm your transaction.
The Ethereum will be sent to the email in 1.8 minutes.
The recipient should receive an email like this above 👆.
That person now owns Ethereum.
They can now add, send or receive Ethereum on their Torus wallet. Because you’ve sent them Ethereum, they now have a wallet.
Go to 👉 : Torus login page
The recipient only needs to sign in with the Gmail account.
Once signed in, there will be a wallet with the balance .
It’s THAT simple!
