Good morning!
I hope you’re all staying vigilant during these tough market conditions.
Recent updates: I’m now a certified RSK (Rootstock) ambassador again… 😂
I have been using the ecosystem for awhile now and see it as the answer to crypto. Bitcoin decentralization with Ethereum supported applications (EVM compatible). The best of both Bitcoin & Ethereum!

RSK is one of the most important projects in crypto. It is a sidechain to Bitcoin. This allows us to use ACTUAL Bitcoin for decentralized finance (deFi) applications & non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

However, over the last few years non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have gotten more attention from users over deFi.
I believe that NFTs bring out the best of deFi and make up the building blocks to a thriving web3 community.
This is the history of NFTs after Cryptopunks, one of the earliest NFTs (however, at the time it was more of an erc-20 token than an ERC-721).
After Punks came Cryptokitties, the first to introduce smart contracts for NFTs and the creators of the erc-721 standard. You were allowed to do more with your NFT such as breed your digital cats. 😂
Eventually, we were introduced to Bored Ape Yacht Club. They made a big name for themselves by showing that NFTs can be used to create businesses. Yuga Labs, the company behind Bored Ape Yacht Club, grew to become a $4 billion web3 company in under a year. 😳
